What is your Cancellation Policy?
This Mountain Life Bookings cancelled at least 60 days before Day of Arrival will receive a 100% refund of rent received. Bookings cancelled at least 30 days before Day of Arrival will receive a 50% refund of rent received. If Guest did not book directly with Owners @ThisMountain.Life, Guest(s) should check with their on-line booking site for treatment of their on-line booking fees paid to them. If the cancellation is made within 30 days of Day of Arrival, the rental amount will not be refunded. However, should Owners or Guests find substitute new guests for the same time period, and such new guests are approved by Owners, the entire rental amount will be refunded less $100. Owners encourage Guest(s) to purchase traveler insurance in case of unforeseen circumstances, accidents or other issues that may prohibit Guest (s) from traveling or fulfilling these rental terms. For 2020 Summer Fall season, Travelers who book with us directly and cancel at least 14 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount they’ve paid. If they cancel between 7 and 14 days before check-in, they’ll get back 50% of what they’ve paid.
Is there a laundromat nearby?
We have two laundromats in Estes Park. Dad’s Maytag Laundry and Showers (457 E Wonderview Ave
(970) 586-2025) located in Upper Stanly Village, near Safeway and Village Laundry (174 S St Vrain Ave
(970) 577-9274) on Hwy 7. Both are 3 – 5 minutes away from This Mountain Life by bike or vehicle.
Where can we buy groceries?
Safeway is located about 3 – 5 minutes from This Mountain Life at the northeast corner of Highways 34 and 36. It can be very busy in the summer months and locals try to shop earlier in the morning to miss the crowds.
The Country Market is a smaller independent grocery store located in National Park Village, just on your way to RMNP at 900 Moraine Avenue.
Do you allow pets?
Unfortunately, no. Our guest may or may not have allergic reactions to the pet of a past guest. To protect all guests, our policy is no pets. There is a pet boarding house within a few minutes of our cabins.
Would this make a good retreat for girls?
Absolutely! Our adventurous ladies will absolutely love trekking the mountains and the walking paths found all over Estes Park proper and the surrounding areas. Shopping, massages, spas, manicures, restaurants, tea and coffee shops, are an easy walk from This Mountain Life.
Is parking a problem in downtown Estes Park?
Not for you! Like in many Colorado communities, it is true that parking is in high demand at the height of the tourist season. But at This Mountain Life you are perfectly positioned for an easy walk to all that downtown has to offer and a short shuttle ride to outlying attractions. Plus, with your reservation you get 1 free door front parking space.
Is it possible to check out late or check in early?
Yes, it is possible. It just depends on the timing of departure of our prior guest or the scheduled arrival of our next guest. If this is something you need, please ask us and we will accommodate you if we can.
