Shrouded in nature’s glory and simple humility, Redemption Cabin is one of the most natural and beautiful places to call homebase for your next rejuvenating chapter. The wildlife are your neighbors, the river is your music, and walking trails are everywhere.

The year was 1914—the conservationist Enos Mills succeeded in his quest to protect the area that is now Rocky Mountain National Park; FO Stanley, fully invested in helping Mills achieve his goal, was also busy running his Stanley Hotel and Stanley Steamer business, both major factors in the push to incorporate Estes Park; and a party of Arapaho elders from the Wind River Reservation toured the area naming landmarks in support of the national park.

Around this same time, pioneers like Mills, Stanley and John Cleave (Estes Park’s first permanent merchant) harvested, hauled, cut, spiked and chinked the log walls of Redemption Cabin into place. The cabin has stood the test of 100 years—outliving historic blizzards, fires and floods, each time coming back stronger. Despite all the changes in the past century, one thing remains the same: the sense of restoration and renewal that the mountains bring.
