Walk to town, Well Decorated Log Cabin.

My son and I visited to hike, climb and enjoy the outdoors.

The cabin is about 4 miles from the Fall River RMNP park entrance and a 5 min walk to town.

The short walk to town is great because parking during the busy season is a nightmare downtown.

The river is across the street and you can hear the calming sounds from the cabin.

Cliffs are behind you so although you are very near other cabins, it feels private.

The cabin is small but is decorated like it’s out of a magazine and is fully stocked with everything you could need.

Rick, the owner, was very friendly and responsive. We travel frequently and are fairly discriminating about accommodations and we would stay at Redemption again.

Exactly as advertised.

While Redemption cabin is very compact (tiny kitchen, living room, and bedrooms; the bathroom is actually fairly spacious), it was an ideal location to walk into Estes, hear the music of the constant flow of Thompson Creek across the road, and had all the amenities we could want or need.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

Fabulous.
My friend and I had a fabulous stay at Redemption Cabin. It’s charm and modern amenities made for great lodging. Our host, Rick, sought out our needs and questions for enhancing our stay at Estes Park. Location is fabulous, listening to the river in the background as you relax at the end of the day. Kitchen is fully stocked for any cooking need that may arise.

10th Anniversary Trip.
Redemption Cabin appeals to all of the senses – from the 360 degree view of the mountains and wildlife, to the sound of the rushing Big Thompson River, and the attractions of Estes Park. We had a fantastic visit, and thoroughly enjoyed having Redemption Cabin as our home base in Colorado. Thanks for your hospitality, Rick! The cabin is expertly decorated, and we enjoyed the playlist, too!

Wonderful Rocky Mountain Find.
Our family of four, which includes two children ages 6 and 9, stayed at Redemption Cabin for five nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We have stayed at four VRBO locations and this was by far our favorite. Rick has created a warm, inviting home with many small touches that made our stay comfortable and relaxing. Young climbers will especially love the boulders behind the cabin. We were a close walk to downtown Estes Park and a short drive to RMNP each day. We highly recommend Redemption Cabin!

Great location!
My sisters and I had the pleasure of staying at Redemption Cabin in Estes Park recently. We found the description to be accurate and even found it to be a little better than the description:) The cabin was in a great location! We were able to walk to town and it was only a short drive to Rocky Mountain National Park. We were also pleasantly surprised by the stocked pantry.
Rick is a great host–provided good information about the area and made sure that we had everything we needed. I’m sure that we will rent this cabin again!

16th Anniversary.
My husband and I returned to Estes park for our second honeymoon to celebrate 16 years together. This was the perfect cabin, great personality and attention to detail with unique antique decor that reflects the history of the cabin and town. Downtown Estes is within walking distance and we loved the river walk along the shoppes and restaurants. Short drive to the Rocky Mountain national park making a day hike ending with nice dinner and glass of vino in town a perfect day. Great place to get away. Rick was very helpful with recommendations and making sure we were comfortable, great host!! We also loved hearing the Big Thompson river outside the cabin. Highly recommend this quaint cabin for some R&R.

Cozy, spotless, and you can walk into town!
A clean, cute, wonderful historic cabin in Estes Park where you can easily walk into town for dining and shopping. It is just a short drive to all of the nature activities. Rick, the owner, is great to deal with and ensures that you have everything you need and answers questions as needed without hovering. We loved watching the birds and chipmunks in the morning in the little back sitting area. The cabin also has a tv and dvd player for watching a movie at night. Lots of books about birds, hikes, and Estes Park history to peruse. I’d stay again in a heartbeat and will recommend to my friends and family. It is a tiny/cozy place though – absolutely perfect for a couple. You could possibly fit two kids in as well, but it might be a little extra cozy!

What a find!
This little cabin was an excellent find and across the street from the Big Thompson River…good for fishing! The cabin is quiet, restful and compact, yet packed with everything you’d need. The décor is creative and unique and very fitting for the style. Comfortable beds and plush towels were delightful and welcomed. Estes Park is a beautiful little town and the “Star” is the Rocky Mountain National Park. Although we didn’t get to meet Rick, we did meet Cheryl and she is a lovely, hospitable person. Be sure to eat at Dave’s BBQ and the Stanley Hotel. These were two of our favorites! We hope to return at some point and would definitely stay at Redemption!

Perfect Colorado Cabin.
This was our first visit to Colorado and what a jewel we found in Estes Park! Redemption Cabin is cozy, warm, beautifully decorated. Rick was especially hospitable showing us the great view of the town atop the rocks behind the cabin and lending us a couple of backpacks for our hike at RMNP. The attention to detail in this cabin was unsurpassable from the quality bedding and kitchenware to the stocked pantry! The location of the cabin was convenient too! It is in walking distance to restaurants, shops and Estes Park all by way of a lovely river walk, so no need for a car! We had a great stay and hope to come back to Redemption cabin again!

Quaint and Cozy.
This is the perfect little cabin for a romantic getaway where a couple can be close to the great outdoors and also a short walk to the quaint shops and boutiques of Estes Park. The cabin is extremely well designed with every detail thought out – including the homemade ready to bake cookie dough in the refrigerator. Furthermore, Rick, the owner, couldn’t have been more accommodating and ready to assist be it with outdoor activity or restaurant recommendations.

The lovely Redemption Cabin.
My husband and I just spent 5 days in Estes Park and stayed at the Redemption Cabin. It was perfect and delightful. Newly remodeled with antique accents it has a pristine well stocked kitchen with all new appliances. Two comfortable bedrooms with windows that open to let in the mountain air. You can sit outside and listen to the little river across the street and walk downtown in about two minutes. The owners were attentive to our needs and gave us great suggestions. We recommend the cabin to anyone who wants to relax, walk to town, and enjoy the great air .

Great time for the whole family.
We spent a wonderful 4 days at Redemption cabin. Our two kids (ages 5 and 3) had a great time as well. The cabin is cozy, nicely done and very clean.
Rick was the best host one could hope for and made us feel right at home, identifying activities for the kids as well. Kids had a great time with Cody (Rick’s dog). We do not have a pet at home, so the kids were very curious but apprehensive. They still talk about Cody.
The location is very good – walking distance to the town and an easy drive to Rocky Mountain National Park.
Highly recommended!

Charming Romantic Getaway.
We loved everything about our stay. The cabin is clean, charming, inviting, comfortable and has many new updates. Rick was great to work with too! He helped us with dinner options, and gave us the insiders scoop for which hikes to do with our family. We loved the fact that we could walk to breakfast or dinner, and really enjoyed the river walk path. We definitely would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in Estes. Thanks again for everything Rick! We hope to come back soon.

Good for your soul.
We had such a positive experience from beginning to end while staying at Redemption Cabin. The communication with Rick was thorough, efficient, and helpful. The location could not be better- close to the river/creek and walking distance to town. We left our car untouched for all of our three days except while exploring the National Park. The cabin itself is filled with the perfect mixture of old and new. The antiques are interesting and obviously well thought out. My favorite touches were the suitcase turned into a vanity and the bell jar lights. We enjoyed the lack of tv though we did watch the Estes Park DVD, which offered additional insight into the history of the town. Mostly we read, drank wine or coffee out front, sat out back and watched the chipmunks, and just enjoyed our family time. Our three days went way too quickly but certainly we appreciated this ‘good for your soul’ visit. Hope to return after we are back in the states again. Blessings to Rick and his family!
